The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has established domain-specific student clubs to promote experiential learning, innovation, technical competency, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students. These clubs provide a platform for students to enhance their technical knowledge, develop practical skills, and apply classroom concepts through workshops, projects, competitions, expert talks, and industry interactions. The following are the four domain-specific ECE Students’ Clubs:

The VLSI Club was established to promote innovation, technical excellence, and practical learning in the field of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Design and semiconductor technology. Guided by the motto “In Silicon We Trust, Designs We Innovate,” the club enhances students’ technical competencies through hands-on learning, industry interaction, workshops, seminars, projects, hackathons, and engineering challenges. It serves as a platform for fostering creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, leadership development, and lifelong learning while preparing students to meet the evolving demands of the semiconductor and VLSI industry.

The Embedded Systems and Robotics Club promotes innovation, technical competency, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the areas of embedded systems, automation, and robotics. The club enables students to apply theoretical concepts through practical projects, workshops, seminars, industry interactions, hackathons, and coding competitions. It encourages project-based learning, problem-solving, leadership, and continuous skill development, preparing students for emerging technologies in embedded systems and intelligent robotics.

The Signal and Image Processing Club is dedicated to enhancing students’ knowledge and practical skills in signal processing, image processing, and intelligent systems. The club focuses on the application of algorithms and technologies for processing speech, audio, images, videos, biomedical signals, and sensor data. Through workshops, seminars, technical talks, projects, and industry interactions, the club promotes innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, technical excellence, and lifelong learning while preparing students to solve real-world challenges in signal and image processing.

The Wireless Communication Club promotes knowledge, innovation, and practical skills in wireless communication technologies. Guided by the motto “Connecting Beyond Boundaries, Unleashing the Wireless Future,” the club provides opportunities for students to explore the design, development, and implementation of modern wireless communication systems. Through workshops, seminars, industry interactions, technical competitions, and project-based learning activities, the club nurtures creativity, leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technical competency while preparing students for advancements in wireless and communication technologies.

As part of experiential and project-based learning, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering encourages students to participate in hackathons that foster innovation, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and technical excellence. These hackathons provide students with opportunities to develop innovative solutions to real-world engineering challenges while enhancing their technical, analytical, and collaborative skills.
