Welcome to GSSSIETW; A unique all Women’s Engineering college now entering its Silver Jubilee year in one of the most Livable of cities in India: Mysore.

This is also the time when dramatic changes in Higher Education in India (across the world too) is unfolding. It can be described as Education in the Age of AI.

We at GSSSIETW have already charted out a very serious Initiative by scaling up and diversifying AI inputs in curricula. All students of all branches are being geared up for Competitive Skills, Information and Knowledge in AI and related topics of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Agentic AI. Similarly AI-ML-Data Science branches are being provided with Multiple Domain Skills, Information and Knowledge.

This Supplementary and Complementary inputs makes all Engineering Graduates that come out of our Institution to be ready to address the Contemporary and Future challenges in their Profession.

We are paying intense and increased attention to class room learning by strong Emphasis on Improved Pedagogy and Laboratory practices. We have also started moving towards Inter and Multidisciplinary outlook amongst Faculty and Students to be better prepared to Engineer the Future. There is a special focus attached to “core” engineering, which indeed is the bed rock of Engineering Education. Increased emphasis is also placed on Basic Sciences and Mathematical skills, which only adds to engineering capabilities apart from AI related skilling. 

We aim to produce more rounded engineering graduates as problem solvers and willing to take up bigger challenges as a team task.
