1 Glimpse into the Rare Birds of India 13-06-2024 In connection with the World Environment Day-2024, NSS Unit of GSSSIETW, Mysuru organized an invited Talk on “Glimpse into the Rare Birds of India” by Samanvitha S Rao on 13-6-2024 in association with Science and Adventure club of the institute.
2 Trek to Chomakunda and Kabbe Betta 02-06-2024 Under Adventure club, a trek was organised to Chomakunda and Kabbe Betta, hills in the district of Coorg on 02-06-2024 for 1st year students. The purpose of the visit is to address the nature in its wilderness and accompanied by the volunteers of People’s Trek and Trek experts.
3 Wetland-Mitra-Pledge 04-01-2024 Wetland-Mitra-Pledge was administered to 100 Science & Adventure Club students of GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysuru
4 Trek to Huliyurudurga and Hutridurga 29-10-2023 Under Adventure club, a trek was organised to Huliyurudurga and Hutridurga in the district of Tumakur on 29-10-2023.
5 World environment day pledge 05-06-2023 Science Club students of GSSSIETW, Mysuru celebrated World Environment Day on 05-06-2023 under the tagline #Beat Plastic Pollution.

1 Sustainable Menstruation Sessions – An awareness program 24-8-2023 Science club in association with ISTE student chapter of GSSSIETW organized an awareness program on ‘Sustainable Menstruation Sessions’ at GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
2 Visit to solid waste management plant at Mysuru city 24-6-2023 To create an awareness on proper solid waste management at all levels of our existence, the Science & Adventure Club of GSSSIETW, visited solid waste management plants located at J P Nagar and Kesare in Mysuru city.
3 Sky Watch Program 23-02-2023 Organized a sky watch program at GSSSIETW campus in association with Gravity Science foundation, Chamarajanagara. There was a talk on “The wonders of Night Sky” by Dr. S N Prasad, former Principal, Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysuru followed by Sky watch program
4 Talk on Himalayan women’s expedition 20-2-2023 A talk on Himalayan women’s expedition was organized at GSSSIETW, Mysuru. M.P Shamala, Mountaineer and Marathon Runner was delivered a talk.
5 Trek to Nishane Motte, Coorg 5-2-2023 Under Adventure club a trek was organised to Nishane Motte, a hill in the district of Coorg for 1st year students. The purpose of the visit is to address the nature in its wilderness and accompanied by the volunteers of People’s Trek and Trek experts.
6 Orientation programme for adventure club members 18-1-2023 An “Orientation Programme” was conducted for first year adventure club members. Mr. Shivashankar, convener, gave brief introduction about trekking and exploring nature by trekking in the forest without disturbing species.
7 Winter nature study 07-01-2023 GSSS group of institutions in association with Regional Museum of Natural History, Mysuru organized a Winter Nature Study-2023 to the first year students as a part of their activity under science club (Scigenix).
8 Visit to sewage treatment plant in the college campus 28-12-2022 Conducted for 1st semester students as a part of their activity under science club (Scigenix). The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the students with the procedure of waste treatment and reuse.
