Training Details
The Dept. of Training & placement organizes training programs to build, motivate and enhance the knowledge of the students towards the recruitment and interview process with the below training programs during each semester, making students industry ready.
A. During First Semester: Bridge Course
B. During Second Semester: Communication Skills
Introduction to Training, Orientation, Industry Expectations, Introduction to Communication Skills, Grammar and Vocabulary, Listening Skills, Speaking Skills, Reading Skills, Writing Skills and Body Language.
C. During Third Semester: Soft Skills/Aptitude/Technical
Motivation and Goal Setting, Team Building, Leadership Skills, Presentation Skills, Group Presentations, Individual Presentations, Time Management, Business Etiquettes, Stress Management, Email Etiquette and Conflict Management.
Aptitude Training & Technical Training – C/C++/Python
D. During Fourth Semester: Employability Skills I
- Quantitative Aptitude – Number System, HCF and LCM, Decimal & Fractions, Simplification, Square & Cube Roots and Averages.
- Logical Reasoning– Number Series, Letter Series, Blood Relations and Analogy.
- Soft Skills – Group Discussions and Interview Skills.
- Technical Training – Problem solving using C/C++
E. During Fifth Semester: Employability Skills II
- Quantitative Aptitude– Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Time & Work and Ages.
- Logical Reasoning– Seating Arrangement, Data Arrangement, Coding & Decoding, Syllogisms and Direction Sense Test.
- Verbal Ability– Sentence Correction, Sentence Completion and Closet Test.
- Technical Training – Data Structures
F. During Sixth Semester: Employability Skills III
- Quantitative Aptitude– Time, Speed and Distance, Permutation and Combination, Probability, Data Interpretation, Simple & Compound Interest and Alligation & Mixtures.
- Logical Reasoning– Clocks, Calendars and Data Sufficiency.
- Verbal Ability– Change of Voice & Speech, Comprehension and Ordering of Sentences.
- Soft Skills– Resume Building and Video Resumes.
- Advanced Technical Training– Advanced C Programming, C++ Programming and Data Structures.
G. During Seventh Semester: Employability Skills IV – Duration 30 Hours
- Aptitude Recap Session– Recap of concepts of all the major topics in Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.
- Interview Preparation– Group Discussions, Interview Skills and Resume Writing.
- Company Specific Training– Company Specific Training for all major recruiters visiting campus.
