About the Library
GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women has built up a reputation of higher academic standards in all branches of Engineering & Technology and Management including science since 2003 through a true dedication and hard work of the management and staff with high end facilities. The institution has got wonderful library facilities to feed the requirement for all the stake holders to excel in their domain. The library has adopted a computerized facility which is user friendly and provides accessing books. The library has a huge collection of over 40560 books & around 14077 E-books along with CD’s and DVD’s apart from the latest Journals and Periodicals.
The GSSSIETW library consists of a central library and seven departmental libraries which collectively support the teaching – learning, research and development and extension programmes of the institution.
GSSSIETW library is setting time to time new goals and successful in achieving all the goals. It has emerged as modern library with its state of the art facilities and good infrastructure.
Vision
Library aims to be the best among engineering colleges libraries in the country. Library intends to incorporate the latest technology and adopt user friendly approach towards students and faculty. Library intends to offer comprehensive services related to dissemination of knowledge.
Mission
M1:Library aims to become the centre of excellence to technical students to improve and invent novel ideology which is needed for challenging world.
M2:Library aims at to seek, create, communicate and preserve knowledge and understanding and carryout the mission in a unified community known as College library.
M3:Library aims at servicing as a resource centre and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for faculty and students of the institution and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge.
M4:Build collections and create tools to support research, teaching, and learning.
M5:Ensuring timely and seamless access to the highest quality resources.
M6:The library has made commitment to adopt new information & communication technology.
