To motivate and support the students and to enhance their skills and knowledge for the technological upgradation, innovation and competitiveness in the field of Applied Instrumentation, GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), KRS Road, Metagalli,Mysuruhas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GTTC (CoE), Mysuru on 21st January 2019. The signing of MoU was organized by the Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. The MoU was signed by Dr.M.Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW and Sri K. L. Prakash, Deputy General Manager, GTTC (CoE), Mysuru in the presence of Sri.R.K.Bharath, CEO and Management Committee Member, GSSSIETW and Dr. Venkatratnam Chitturi, Head, Department of E&IE, GSSSIETW,Mysuru.
GTTC is a premier tool room and training center established by Government of India in 1972.Center of Excellence (CoE) is established by Government of Karnataka through commerce and industries department with Siemens Industry Software India Pvt, Ltd. The objective is to provide training to Engineering students as well as faculty on world class technologies from Siemens. These trainings will greatly benefit the student community in educating them on the latest technologies which is used in the industry through Workshops, Final Year Projects, Industrial Visits, Internship Programs and Skill Development Programs. Students will acquire latest relevant knowledge and best practices of industries. The employability of students shall increase by certification from globally renowned Siemens.

The signing of MoU was organized by the Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
The MoU was signed by Dr.M.Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, and Mr.Sivakumar Subramanian, Partner, RobotGuru, in the presence of Sri.R.K.Bharath, CEO and Management Committee Member, GSSSIETW, Mr.Harsha, Director, RobotGuru, Mysuru, Dr. Venkatratnam Chitturi, Associate Professor & Head, Department of E&IE, GSSSIETW,Mysuru.
Robot Guru which seeks to teach robotics in an integrated manner interweaving hardware and software. It focuses on fundamental principles and underlying core technologies like 3D sensing, speech processing, RGBD sensors, Gesture processes and Person tracking. This pioneer in education is a brainchild of innovative experts in the field of robotics who have over 28 patents in US, Europe and Japan. The team has extensive experience in building and programming award-winning consumer and industrial robots apart from mentoring various start-ups in Silicon Valley. RobotGuru, is engaged in Business, Manufacturing, Skill Development, Education and R&D Services in the fields of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Drones and relatedfields. It trains the student on the emerging technologies in order to bridge the skill gap and make them industry ready, through workshops and final year projects.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and “NI Systems India Pvt Ltd.,” regarding LabVIEW Academy Program for the establishment of NI LabVIEW Academy based Competence Development Program.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed on 23rd of November 2015 between Department of Instrumentation Technology of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and Gill Instruments Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru, to establish the lab for “Center of Excellence in Applied Electronics”. The signatories of the MoU were Dr. Sumithra Devi K A, Principal, GSSSIETW, Dr Shivakumar M, Professor and Head , IT Dept., GSSSIETW, Mr.Gurjeeth Singh, Managing Director, Gill Instruments, Bengaluru in the presence of Sri R K Bharath, CEO and Management Committee Member, GSSS(R); Sri M V Sreenivas Rao, Asso. Professor Dept of IT graced the occasion.

- Practical Training for students.
- To provide Internship for UG students.
- Academic projects for UG students.

The signatories of the MoU were Dr. Sumithra Devi K A, Principal, GSSSIETW, M V Sreenivas Rao, Asso.Professor and Head , IT Dept., GSSSIETW and Mrs. R. Padma, Deputy Manager (Training) Customer Service Division, Yokogawa, India Limited, Bangalore, in the presence of Smt.Vanaja B Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS(R) and Sri R K Bharath, CEO and Management Committee Member, GSSS(R); Smt.Anupama B Pandit, AAO, GSSSIETW; and Smt. Mamatha D.V,Asst.Professor. Dept of IT graced the occasion.
